We are urgently looking for volunteers to assist in the running and organisation of the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides. If you feel that you can help us then please contact Mrs Louisa Low. (01224) 695182.
Update. WE now have some tempory students that are assisting us in this role. However, If you feel that you can help out on a more perement basis then please contact us.

Being a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide or member of the Senior Section opens up a world of opportunities that will last a lifetime. It provides a safe, girl-only space to explore the activities, issues and possibilities that are available to girls today. |  |

| Our Sections. |
- Rainbows - Rainbows have fun! They take part in indoor and outdoor activities as part of their programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw.
- Brownies - Brownies are usually aged between seven and 10. Brownies have fun! They take part in indoor and outdoor activities that challenge them to do their best.
- Guides - Guides are usually aged between ten and 14. Being a Guide is all about learning new skills, making new friends and helping others.

Did you know?
- Girlguiding UK is the largest youth organisation for girls in the UK today.
- Almost half of the women in Britain have been involved in guiding at some point in their lives.
- Around 30 per cent of eight-year-old girls are in Brownies.
- Celebrity former members include Cat Deeley, Glenda Jackson, Lorraine Kelly, Mo Mowlan, Anita Roddick, Helen Sharman (the first British woman in space), Tanni Grey-Thompson, Carole Vorderman, Delia Smith, Kate Moss and Cherie Booth.
- Seventy per cent of five- to seven-year-olds, 73 per cent of seven- to ten-year-olds, 81 per cent of ten to 15-year-olds and a massive 96 per cent of 16- to 25-year-olds like to spend time together without any boys being there.
- Girlguiding UK strives to enable girls' voices to be heard wherever decisions that affect them are being taken.
