A letter from Steve McDonald. |
My apologies for not getting in touch sooner. I hope you and Adrienne are well and that you are experiencing times of encouragement. Please tell Helen, Rachel and Lewis that we are asking for them.
Northfield was a terrific placement for me and the family and we are very grateful to you for you help and support over the probationary period placement. I didn't realise how hard it was going to be to leave Northfield, but it was fellowship and prayer (and the odd game of golf). Being able to work with you in all the many aspects of Parish ministry in Northfield was a privilege.
Thank you for being not only being a great supervisor, but a really supportive friend. I have so many good memories from Northfield and all the experience over the fifteen months have helped me a a person and now as a minister
Tracey has settled on Carloway and Is very involved in the community. Michael loves the local school and Hanna will start primary 1 after the summer holidays. Jusha has another year of nursery before he start school.
We've been here for 9 months now and the time has flown by, and we are thankful to God for his provision and guidance in leading us to Carloway. I cannot put into words just how blessed we were to be with you and the folks in Northfield. Their support was brilliant and their friendship genuine. Please let the congregation know how much we miss them (especially George since Rangers won the doubles this year). Scott, may God continue to bless you and your ministry, be assured of our prayers.
Stephen, Tracey,
Micheal, Hannah and Joshua
